Grade 4 Camp

Last week we were on camp. We went to Simonsberg Christian Center activities.

First we went to the Giraffe House I holed one of the snakes it felt very weird.
Then we see`d a giraffe and a zebra and after that we had snack I bout chips and a water.
Then we went to he camp the first day was boring we started building a fort then I gt bored.
When it was night at 6 or 7 I don`t know but on the first night we had spaghetti bolognaise.
On the second day we did the activities we did obsolesces, plank game, rock, paper,  scissors and the raft race.
then on the next day we went home I sleep in the bus for most of the trip.

Our visit to the Sinai Academy

Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. It was very interesting and it was a lot of fun. The outing was so cool we first started with listing to some facts then we read some of torah then we went to the senior primary listing to some songs and learned how to be jewish.      My favorite thing about the sinai Academy is the bread, Hebrew language and the ram`s horn. It was very interesting when we learned a the Jewish language and Torah. And it was cool when the boys put on the kippah on. And then we drank some grape juice and ate the Callah bread. And we also touched the scroll in the ark the we donated money for the charity. They have a Shabbat on Friday sunset and you have turn off your electricity until Saturday sunset. The jewish religion is so weird and cool because you have turn off your electricity on Friday. The synagogue was so cool also the mezuzah and the rabbi was so nice to us. And the Rosh Hashanah when the blow the horn was cool. I had so much

 Title of Book: The butterfly Lion. Author: Michael Morpurgo. Genre: Children's story. Characters: Bertie, Millie, The White Prince. Setting: Timbavati in Africa, England, France. Summary: It began when a boy ran away from school. And met an old lady, who tolled a story of her died husband called Bertie. He lived in Africa and found a white lion then he white lion got sent to a circus in France. Then Bertie was sent to boarding school in England.He some times ran away from boarding then came back before they notice ran away. Then he met Millie they were now friends. They would fly kites on the weekends with out  the boarding school noticing. Lesson from book:  That you should look out for others. My feelings about book: This book made me happy and sad at the same time.
